Since 1999, Coloco brings together Landscape Architects, Urban planners, Botanists, Gardeners, and Artists. A multidisciplinary practice for research, strategy, experimentation, artistic actions, gardening, project supervision and celebration. Mobile between fields of knowledge and fields of practice. Mobile also between scales of landscape. Landscape; the whole of life under our gaze. Broadening the opportunities of decision makers through proposals for collective construction is the studio’s key operative mode. Individual and collective action aims to transform at all scales our predatory behaviour, our relationship to consumption and to challenge the delegation of action we confer to institutions that maintain a state of collective inertia. Landscape; common good, uniting us all without exception, for this reason, “l’invitation à l’œuvre”, the invitation to act, is the essential moment of Coloco’s practice.
Miguel is based in Montpellier, France. In addition to his active practice, Miguel teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage Versailles & Marseille.
